BACKGROUND: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common skin disease that is characterized by
recurrent episodes of itching. Filaggrin (FLG) loss-of-function (FLG null) mutations have
been associated with an increased risk of AD. OBJECTIVE: We sought to evaluate the effect
